So You’ve Become

How a man can prove himself different than what his words lead you to believe.

So You’ve Become

For all of the moments of tell tale signs
Drinking your words of merry and wine

Placing my heart on your tattered sleeve
Tempting me softly as if you believe

Cradling my need to sense of your love
Turning me into a broken-winged dove

Pacifying a tear from my cheek
Testing a soul you know to be weak

Grasping for me with wide opened hands
Letting me fall into quickening sand

I Am Lonely - George Eliot

poetry, george eliot,poets

“I AM Lonley” is the reality of someone who seems to have it all, but has nothing, as expressed poetically by George Eliot, referencing the mourning felt for the loss of her sister.

Life is always sweeter with that cherished one to share it with.

A Little Chocolate Syrup and Your ‘Honey’ (a passionate girly love poem)

What a Little Chocolate Syrup Can Do” written by me ;-)

Whisper to me
A manly soft voice
So masculine
So sweet

Hold my body
Tall and strong
My hero
My guy

Tempt me with kisses
Moist and heavy
Taste me
Tasting you

Touch me with fingers
Smooth and knowing
Anticipating
So certain

Slide across our sweetness
Chocolaty and warm
My seducer
My flame

Ease your heat with our sweat
Passionate and hot
Wanting you
Craving me

Discover what awaits you
Inside my love
Ecstasy calls
Frailty disappears

Mirror

I visited my Stumbleupon friends (Greatsloth) poetry blog and it gave me an urge to write something creative.

His poetry blog, drunken alphavomitus, is peculiar, creative, and full of his own ’stamp’..

Good bad or indifferent is in the eye of the beholder.

I say he’s very talented.

His writing is so expressive, that it put me in a writing mode myself. I’m stressing out a little today and this is just what I need to break the hell out of my skin and touch the intangible that sometimes begs to be fondled..

Michael VanDeMar’s Endless Poetry

I saw this poetry site in one of Michael VanDeMar’s communities in MyBlogLog

Now I have a new favorite poetry spot. ;-)

According to Michael:

All poetry on this site was generated using a random poetry generator.

All lines of poetry used are either believed to be from public domain poetry or are from my own personal poems. If you like any of the poetry you find here, please feel free to email it to a friend.

Each page of poetry has a link where you can vote for that poem, which will then display it on the Favorite Poetry page.If you have some personal poetry that you would like to publish online, please email me. If I get enough requests I will create a set of pages for people to post their own poems for others to read.”
