Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) - A Silent Killer
My Stumbleupon friend, Philip (PJA64X) sent this news story my way this morning.
The idea is to raise awareness of what is called “Inflammatory Breast Cancer” (IBC)
As shown in this news story, it is not as other forms of breast cancer.
It requires immediate aggressive treatment with chemotherapy and surgery but is not usually detected by mammograms or ultrasounds.
Which makes it a silent killer.
