I bounced the web looking for gratitude related reading today. I was going to go into a big long blog post about what gratitude can do for you blah blah..

But then I saw Susie Austins post. She kept it short and sweet and so will I.

I love the quote that I found at Susies. I certainly need to apply more of this myself.

It begins as a fantasy. A thought.

It becomes an obsessive thought that soon grows too strong to fight. (compulsion to act upon the thought / fantasy)

I’ve decided to make Thursdays a day to introduce poetry from various sources that I have encountered in passing. Some may be in the form of Lyrics from songs, diary writers that very few may acknowledge, maybe even Shakespeare or the like. You never can tell what you are going to find online if you look hard enough, which means you never know what Thursday will offer here.

It will be a learning process as I do not even know much about Shakespeare and many other ‘famous’ writers that maybe I should know more about. Maybe we can learn together.

So the previous post is written, published, bashed, spat at, cursed at, and kicked around a little bit by a whole lot of people. The bold greeting of expectation.

What now?

I remember reading that making use of journaling or the keeping of a diary to get feelings off of your chest that may be trapped deep inside of you is freeing. It’s a release of tension and burden.
